It's a really solid and nice quality product. But it's not the one that you can use just by moving it with your hands all over your body. That being said, it's great! It will give you a deeper massage for your bigger muscles like the back, legs, or glutes. You just need to lie down onto the roller with all your body weight and roll it this way. It will do the job nicely. But for smaller muscles or a lighter massage, you'll need something else.

What is foam rolling?
Foam rolling is a form of self-myofascial release. ‘Myo’ means muscle and ‘fascia’ means the connective tissue. Myofascial release is the removal of tension, which if left untreated can result in a loss of performance at best and injury at worst.
How to use a foam roller?
Foam rollers are very simple and can be used on a variety of muscle groups in the same way a therapist would massage you. You can access different parts of the body by sitting, laying down, or leaning against the wall. As for the actual movement, go over your muscles backward and forward, but be slow and thorough.
What are the benefits of foam rolling?
Foam rolling relieves muscular soreness, improving range of motion and mobility. It speeds up recovery, restores muscles and boosts performance. Foam rolling is essential for preventing injury and correcting muscle imbalances.
